Hello, everybody - i am the it guy and welcome to another video in this video, a little bit of a review of the windows repair toolbox or, as i like to call it the one tool to rule them all. A friend of mine who still works in a pc repair shop and who does a lot of pc repair on desktop computers for end user customers. He recommended this to me and i never heard of it and i thought like well. This is quite the catch that i uh. This is quite the gem here, because basically, this is really literally the one tool to rule them all. You will never need another tool again for basic pc repair. Of course, there are going to be some exceptions where you will need to download a specific tool, but this tool pretty much, has the best tools on the market built into one little tool, and the only thing you need to do is click the tool you need. It will download and then it will run it. So, let's go over a little bit of um. Let'S go over a little bit of the options here, i'm going to go over everything, of course, but basically this is what you get when you open the windows repair toolbox, so so to start off. You will find a lot of hardware tools over here and a lot of these tools. Uh are pretty familiar to me. I know hardware info hardware, monitor cpuc, cpuz, gpuz, crucial ss i'd, never really heard of that one. So i'm quite excited to have a look at that later for mark. Of course, we have a lot of different options over here, as you can see also battery info, which is, of course, very handy if you are using a laptop. But then there are other tools over here, and these are a little bit interesting if you are working in it yourself, so we have proc monitor a portable version of firefox. We have a blue screen view, which is very handy nowadays, because blue screen views. If your pc is blue screening, you want to read out those minidam files, of course, and this tool is built in here. We also have a few repair tools, so the basic sfc scan. We have uh wind repair aio. We do have a lot of other stuff over here as well. I recommend you just you know you would just try them out if you need them. Of course, you don't have to try them if your pc is not broken. Of course, we have some backup options, default windows, system commands or system tools like a check disk and a task manager. We have the dism uh, which always you know slips my mind whatever. I need to type in a dism uh dism command uh. If you do it like every day, then you remember it of course, but i would definitely forget what the actual command was for dism or sfc. I would always have to look it up, but hey. I have this tool now. I can just click this button. I don't need to remember all those commands anymore. We have a lot of uninstallers as well, but now um look like ddu, and so we have the reverend installer, uh and uh java uninstaller tool and a lot of different other options. But now this is the most uh interesting part. For me, this is the malware removal part, and this will give you the option to run a virus scan run ccleaner even run a disk defrag. So this is actually i was going. I was planning on doing a video on how to remove viruses from your computer. On how to remove malware from your computer, but i don't have any reasons to do so anymore, because this windows repair toolbox exists. Now, i'm not gon na go over how to install malwarebytes, how to download malwarebytes how to download hitman pro how to go over. All of those unnecessary steps where you can just download the windows repair toolbox and let it install these pieces of software for you and you don't even have to install it because there are unattended, runs available. So we can actually just select kaspersky and we can select ccleaner like this. We can just run them unattended and i'm not going to do that right now, but basically you get the gist of it. https://www.techtricksclub.net/best-dive-computer/ whatever software you want and just click run unattended, and it will run in the background without any need of an intervention from you like clicking somewhere, although this is not always the best way to do things. The reason being is, if you have specific software on your computer, let's just say: you're running a business and you have uh invoicing software in your on your business and it's it's a pretty old version or whatever it will detect it. Possibly or maybe you have some piece of software - that's a programmer wrote for you, uh that might be detected as a potential threat uh in cases like that. I think that uh, it's not as it's not as smart as to run just an unattended scan because, of course, what's going to happen, is though those unattended scans will just perform a um, a default action for everything, so they will probably have like a default uh. Remove action uh whenever they detect a threat uh, so it's not always the best way to do so. So in cases like that, i might recommend you download something like avg or avast for free antivirus or, of course, if you're running a paid antivirus. That'S always a little bit better, but for things like ccleaner and disk defrag, i think that's quite okay to run unattended or if you are quite sure that you only have maybe a couple of games and very known and um a very popular software on your computer. That is definitely uh in the database of kaspersky or microsoft, or whatever your you can rest. You can rest assured that you can just click these options and let it run unattended, although i don't really uh approve of any of these anti-viruses. I don't really like any of them uh, i maybe i use kaspersky once i'm not really a big fan of kash persky or any of these others, but that's just personal opinion. Of course, some people might have very good experiences with kaspersky and if you don't want to run these malware removals unattendedly, i will do a video a little bit more in depth on how to actually remove viruses from your computer. So it's not really, as i said in the beginning of the video, i didn't really have an incentive to do so, but i might have to do so because i don't think that malware removal in this tool is that good uh, although it's very handy if you're Running a computer repair shop just run these things unattendedly and then maybe you can finish up with an extra scan afterwards to see if everything actually cleaned up but um in the middle column. Over here we do have hitman pro row: killer, malwarebytes, adw cleaner. These are all tools that i highly highly recommend, especially malwarebytes. It'S really still the king in malware detection and adw. Cleaner is perfect for adware and few piece, so yeah, that's pretty much it. We do get some custom tools here. Okay, so we do have an option to add tools to this folder over here and we can run those so potentially, if you maybe you run it, you want to run a script. You can perfectly do that in here, and it will just run it and we have. We do have also some final tests and those final tests consist of testing whether flash player java pdf all of those things. We can do a stress test. We can test the internet speed. There are a lot of tests over here. We can test our webcam our microphone. These are just some basic tests that when you would um finish up a computer, you think like if you're a computer repair shop - or you just want to give this back to your parents, like you, fix this, for your parents or for your grandparents, you fix their Computer, but you want to make sure that everything works well. These tests can do that. For you, then we have some notes. You can write down some notes. We can uh, we can run the product key or uh uh mail pass for you. You know these are all tools that i used so so so much when i was uh working in the computer repair shop, because that's what just happens right if you ask people hey, do you have your email password and they just say i don't use it. I don't have a password, i don't have a password, i don't know what you're talking about and, of course, the people they don't realize that their email address is secured by a password, but they never type it in. So they don't know that they have a email password and that's just the reality of it. When you're working in a computer repair shop, people don't know a thing about their computer, they don't even know that there is a password to protect other people from accessing their mailbox. It'S uh! It'S it's! It'S quite surprising that people don't know these things, but it's still. You know it happens, so we do have these options over here. To take some notes, uh, we can write down the product keys that they have so maybe, when you have to reformat a pc when you have to format a pc and reinstall windows, it might be a good idea to run this tool over here and then just Run the product key and the mail pass view and write all of those things down and then save that to a usb stick or whatever or print it out on a piece of paper, so that people know for the future that they do have a password. And they do have product keys that uh that are used to install software, also, some settings over here, of course, and then the about page and uh this file over here. This final uh tab over here is very special because i would say that alex c dot, w gmail.com, whoever you are - you did an amazing job. I am going to donate to this person because i think the guy really deserves it for what he's doing so, i'm going to leave it at that guys.
